Not at all! This workshop is designed for all levels, including beginners. Whether you’ve never touched a pole or have attended a few classes, Soul Pole will meet you where you are and help you grow. Furthermore, Soul Pole is for everyone, no matter your size, shape, or fitness level. Pole dancing is about embracing your unique strengths and finding joy in movement, and we celebrate all bodies in this program.
Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident! Shorts and a tank top or sports bra are ideal to allow for better grip on the pole, but you can wear whatever feels best for you. Bare feet are recommended.
To keep the experience meaningful and effective, the workshop is limited to 10 participants. This allows for personalized guidance and a supportive group atmosphere.
Each participant will receive: Access to 8 weekly 90-minute classes. A beautifully designed workbook filled with therapeutic exercises, mindfulness activities, and space for reflection. Guidance from a licensed therapist with almost 10 years of pole dancing experience.
The full cost of the workshop will be shared when scheduling is finalized. However, as part of the first group to experience Soul Pole, you’ll receive a substantial discount on the regular price of $100 per session. Stay tuned for more details!
You are encouraged to bring a yoga mat for warming up, as the studio does not provide them. You can also bring a blanket or pillow to make yourself comfortable during the meditative or group discussion portions of the workshop. Feel free to bring anything that helps you feel at ease and supported throughout the session.
That’s completely normal! Many participants feel this way at first, but Soul Pole is a judgment-free zone. The supportive environment is designed to help you overcome insecurities, embrace your body, and feel empowered.
While the workshop includes therapeutic elements, you’re never required to share more than you feel comfortable with. Participation in discussions and reflections is always optional and at your own pace.
